How to Set Up Your Device

Download Trezor Suite:
This official desktop app helps you manage your wallet. Install it for Windows, macOS, or Linux. -
Connect your Trezor:
Use the USB cable to plug your device into the computer. Follow the prompts in Trezor Suite. -
Install firmware:
First-time users must install firmware. Always verify on your Trezor screen before proceeding. -
Create or restore a wallet:
Choose to create a new wallet or recover from an existing recovery seed. -
Backup your recovery seed:
Your device will display a 12- or 24-word phrase. Write it down and store it safely offline. Never save it digitally. -
Set a PIN:
Choose a secure PIN to protect your wallet in case it’s lost or stolen.
